Lol he looks like an old hippy teaching creative writing or something at a csu. He is so dangerous he has to be kept in solidary and the entire cuban inmate population had to jump him and tackle him to subdue him in the 80s prison riots -- because the federal govt wouldnt deal with the cubans if he was still lose. They even had to escort him recently in a Hanibal lector suit at some recent gag trials.

"Carter said defense lawyers could call Tommy Silverstein as a witness but warned the notorious Aryan Brotherhood leader known as "Terrible Tom" would be shackled in court "just like a 'Silence of the Lambs' character."
Silverstein killed a guard in 1983 at Marion federal prison in Illinois after slipping his handcuffs with the help of another gang member and pulling a concealed foot-long knife.
Silverstein, who has also been convicted of killing three other inmates, is the nation's most heavily guarded prisoner, according to prosecutors. He is confined to a special cellblock in the basement of Leavenworth Penitentiary in Kansas.
"He will come out here in chains and sit there in chains," Carter said in a pretrial hearing on Friday."

if so, should i just wait that time and see if there more rumors about it?
If you aren't buying it now, then your only option is to wait. When you have the money, then take a new look at the buyer's guide to see if there are any new news about the ACD.
also, im just curious, what can apple improve?
Thunderbolt, possibly with daisy-chaining.

I mean, yeah, but it's not worth worrying about. Maybe if you reformat 10 times a day...but how many times are you really going to do it...
You could argue that opening and closing your Macintosh HD could create more wear and tear on the HD than letting it sit.
On the iMac, you can replace the HD though, so if worst comes to worst, and it's out of warranty, you can just but a new one.

How does the Mac Mini handle itself when being used directly with a large TV?
I have a 1080p TV, 46" and plan to use it as a computer to show people how to use iPhoto and iMovie and such. I had my MacBook Air hooked up, and it worked fine as a second monitor but there was minor lag at times. When the Air was hooked up to my Apple 24" LED there is no lag at all so I was wondering if the screen size has anything to do with it.
Does the Mini handle this situation well? I am currently waiting for the refresh, but wanted some opinions in case this has been an issue or not.

This will NOT work for "any iPhone/iPod touch." This needs to be made clear for anybody who thinks this is a one-size-fits-all solution for everybody.
Apple cryptographically "signs" firmware releases these days. This happens during the restore process, and unless Apple signs off on the restore, you'll get an error message. Even if you could bypass the error message, without the signatures specific to your device for that iOS version, your device would never boot up.
Apple prevents downgrades by refusing to sign anything but the latest version of software. This is where Saurik's SHSH collector and TSS server come into play, for those that take advantage of his services.
The reason it worked for YOU is because you have a second-generation iPod touch and you were downgrading to something less than 4.0. Apple didn't start using device-specific (ECID-based) SHSHs until 3.x on iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd-gen, and 4.x on all other devices that support 4.x (including iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2nd-gen). So, unless you are collecting your SHSHs for each Apple software release, if you are on 4.2.1 on your iPod touch, you would be able to downgrade to 2.1.1 like you did, but you would not be able to downgrade to 4.1 or 4.0.
Also, you didn't technically need iREB for this. All you used iREB for was to get the iPod into DFU mode. You can do that yourself, manually, using the power and home buttons...instructions for doing so are in abundance on-line.
If you have an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd-gen, or iPod touch 4th-gen, you can't downgrade to any release without the corresponding SHSH for your device. Period.

You sure about that? It worked fine for me when going from 4.2.1 to 4.1 on my touch 4g. I did get the error message you speak of but after editing the hosts file I no longer got that error and it went right along with the restore.

Thanks for all the responses. I've heard good things about Linotypes Font Explorer, so I might have a look at that for my system, as Suitcase is becoming a pain to use!

I have a Blue/white G3 at home and I need to upgrade, but can't afford to get what I would really like (a G5). I have 21" apple monitor, keyboard and mouse. And, I use all the graphics software: Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Does anyone think this the lowest model of the mini macs is a good purchase for a couple of years? I know it will be out of date quicker than some of my other options. But, my monitor is really good, so I think I shouldn't go the emac or imac route. Any suggestions or thoughts out there? I appreciate it.

Are you sure your computer isn't saying "Could not load MySpace, Reason: It's for 13 year old losers."?
:)
I've had several pages lock up both safari and ie (I only tried ie to see if it would hose a standard browser as well!) on my ibook. It's those crappy "profile editors" that people use to customize their sites. Firefox on my PC works fine but I think the ibook's browsers are so shocked by the heinous html butchery that they just can't go on.

Yea I have kinda the same problem. I have 3.7gb of music and I love the nano. The smallness is so much more conveniant especially for working out and running, but in like one more day ill be out of space. I dont listen to all the music in my itunes anyway so ill just have to be selective. It sounds like the nano would be the best bet for you aswell.

Hello guys,
I've recently ran into an issue. I need to copy files from an external drive to an IMAC but I need all dates to be preserved. Like creation date, modification date etc...
Is that possible somehow?
Thanks a bunch for your help.
